Welcome to ‘5 things’, a monthly round-up ‘sletter created with the purpose of hopefully introducing you to some cool new things. Whether newly discovered or tried and true—I share 5 things with you each month that really caught my attention.

This month has been CRAZY. May is my birthday month but boy, I can’t wait until June. Lately I’ve been hyper-focused on creating YouTube content. I really want to prioritize growing my YouTube channel this year and because I’ve set that mental goal for myself, I’ve been buzzing with new video ideas. If you haven’t seen my videos, I would LOVE if you checked out my channel because it would mean a ton to me.

My all time favourite link in bio tool. I’ve tried so many different link in bio tools but Liinks is by far the best one. It’s super customizable and has tons of different element layouts so you can create a gorgeous mobile landing page.

The most gorgeous vegan leather iPhone case. I’m always changing up my case but since I tried this one by Andar, I haven’t switched back to something else in WEEKS. It’s just super well crafted and very beautiful. Might pick it up in another color as well!

The best app blocker app. Out of all the app-blockers that I’ve tried, Opal definitely works the best. They make it difficult enough for you to unblock your apps before the time is up so that you really don’t end up doing it. I set mine to automatically block all social, email, and messaging apps from 5 am - 8 am so I can focus on my morning routine.

The perfect wall charger for on-the-go. When I have a long remote day, I always bring my laptop charger with me just in case. But carrying out that huge MacBook wall charger block is a HUGE pain in the butt. I recently found this one from another YouTuber and it’s the perfect compact one to bring with you that’s powerful enough to charge your laptop (and phone) quickly.

The best wired ear buds for editing. Whether you’re a content creator or video editor, these are by far the BEST pro ear buds I’ve tried. The audio is super crisp and it’s such a bang for your buck. I’ve decided I’m going to carry these with me even when I have my headphones because you can never depend on wireless headphone batteries for work!

Influence by Robert B. Cialdini - This has been sitting on my shelf for a couple of years now so I’ve finally decided to tackle it. Getting through it surprisingly fast! If you’re in marketing or sales, there are definitely some interesting suggestions in here.
